Tri-County Animal Rescue has aided in over 175+ rescues ranging from natural disasters (hurricanes, tornadoes) and from man made disasters (illegal hoarders and puppy mills).
We are emergency rescue partners with Animal Rescue Corps, and the Humane Society of the United States.

Hurricane Katrina- 93 animals saved, New Orleans 2005
Hialeah, Florida- 83 animals saved, abandoned and abused in a warehouse, 2012
EF5 Tornado- 81 animals saved, Moore Oklahoma, 2013
Bahamas- 18 dogs saved, abandoned at a Vacant Egg Farm, 2014
Hurricane Joaquin- 26 dogs rescued, South Carolina, 2015
Wauchula, Florida- saved over 221 animals from euthanasia at a high kill shelter (a shelter with a 90% euthanasia rate) 2016
Tate County, Mississippi- saved over 90 animals from a puppy mill that was investigated and shut down, September 2016
Blue Ridge Georgia- 65 animals saved from high kill shelters, 2016
Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami Dade Animal Control- saved over 400+ dogs since 2010
Redlands, Miami- saved over 15 animals from abandonment, September 2016-Present . People dump their pets at this location and leave them to fend for themselves. For those of you not familiar with this area, it is near the Everglades which is home to hundreds of predators, such as, snakes, spiders, alligators. Most animals never make it out, we are lucky to save as many as we can!
Operation Summer Saves- in collaboration with Animal Rescue Corps, saved over 60 dogs in a span of two days from puppy mill and a few high kill shelters, 2017
Operation April Showers- saved over 155+ dogs and cats from a variety of situations (from Puppy mills, Hoarders, and high kill shelters, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, 2017
Puerto Rico– Since Hurricane Irma/Maria destroyed much of the island, many animals were displaced. To date we’ve rescued over 250 dogs/cats from homelessness to give the animals a second chance. 2017- present
