Look around you, by your feet, on your couch. If you’re at work, think about where your pets are right now. They are probably sitting in the a/c by the front door waiting for you to come home. When you leave do you say “I’ll be right back”? Do you give them a kiss when you come home?
Now think of this. Tri-County Animal Rescue was contacted by the Animal Rescue Corps to help them with the unthinkable. They broke up a puppy mill and a hoarder in Tennessee. Shih Tzus, Yorkies, Huskies, Chihuahuas, Poodles and others needed a chance at a new life. Then, we received a different call from a high kill shelter in Alabama. They were over-run with puppies and weren’t able to give these puppies the time to grow up if we didn’t come as soon as possible. Two days later, we were in Tennessee and Alabama. 24 hours after that, 60 dogs could call Tri-County their home. After immediate baths, feeding, hugs and kisses, these dogs for the first time in their lives are finally feeling what love is. Now, these animals are happy and healthy and finally have the chance to lead safe long lives. We are only able to do this because of the support, kindness, and friendship from all of you.
