IMPORTANT NOTICE

The first step to performing court ordered community service duties with Tri-County Animal Rescue is to come in with a photo ID and Court Papers that include the charge and amount of hours to be done. If you are on probation, we will need the name and number of your probation officer.

We can sign you up for Court Ordered community service at the shelter from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursdays through Sunday. We are located at 21287 Boca Rio Road in Boca Raton, FL.

General Guidelines

The types of offenses that are allowed include:

  • DUI
  • Speeding Tickets
  • Petite Theft
  • Loitering
  • Reckless Driving
  • Other misdemeanors (at TCAR discretion)
  • Felony offenses are not eligible for community service with Tri County Animal Rescue. All individuals that have been court ordered to perform community service of five (5) or more hours MUST provide documentation verifying the type of offense.
  • WE DO NOT ALLOW PROSTITUTION OR ANY VIOLENT OFFENSES, INCLUDING BATTERY, ASSAULT, DOMESTIC ABUSE, OR ANIMAL CRUELTY.
